MeMe's Place is on the Placencia Sidewalk in Placencia Village, Belize (Stann Creek District) — a boutique beachfront collection of villas, suites, and 1-bedroom units on the southern coast.

How close is MeMe's Place to the beach?

Every accommodation is steps from the Caribbean Sea. The Placencia Sidewalk is a pedestrian-only path and our properties sit directly along it, so the beach, bars, and restaurants are all within a 2-minute walk.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is 3:00 PM and check-out is 11:00 AM. Early check-in and late check-out can be requested based on availability.

What's included in each stay?

All units include air conditioning, complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi, a full or kitchenette, linens and towels, private bathrooms, and access to our private rooftop terrace. Larger villas and the Estate include a private pool.

Do you offer airport transfers from Placencia or Belize City?

Yes — ground and hopper-flight transfers to Placencia Municipal Airport or from Belize City International can be arranged. Contact us at least 48 hours before arrival.

Are long stays or monthly rentals available?

Yes. We offer discounted weekly and monthly rates for digital nomads, snowbirds, and extended visitors. Reach out with your dates and unit preference for a custom quote.

Can I book directly instead of through an OTA?

Yes — booking directly through MeMe's Place saves you the OTA fees that hotels typically pass on to guests, and lets us tailor your stay (airport pickup, tour bookings, property choice) more flexibly than third-party platforms.

Parking

There is currently no parking available on the property. Parking at “The Point” near the pier is free and is about a 100 yard walk down the side walk to get the MeMe’s Place.

House Rules

During Stay

No parties or events are allowed.
No smoking allowed.
No pets allowed.
No unregistered guests are allowed.
Don’t eat or drink in the bedrooms. Please enjoy your meal in the dining area.
Make sure to turn off the lights, air conditioning, and any electronics when you leave the house. To keep your belongings safe, don’t forget to close the windows and lock the door.
No illegal substances are allowed on the premises.
Keep a close eye on your kids while being on the balcony or rooftop.
Report any damages and/or breakages in a reasonably timely manner. Damages exceeding the security deposit amount must be paid by guests and will be reported.

Upon Checkout

Please strip beds if used and place any used linen in the hamper and leave hampers next to the front door.
Please wash the dishes, and throw out the garbage before checkout. Please use the garbage bin in front of the property.
Please return the furniture to its original position if you rearranged them.
Please respect check-in and check-out times.

Cancellation/Refund

Cancellations must be received at least a week in advance of reserved date for return of deposit. If cancellation is received within a week of reserved date, return of deposit will be contingent upon our ability to re-book the room. All cancellations are subject to a USD$25.00 service fee. No refunds for early departures.
No refunds for no-shows or used portions of accommodations or packages
Non-availability of Accommodation – We would only cancel your stay if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would then refund your deposit in full. Our liability would not extend beyond this point.
